I am Ella, a solo photographer based in the UK, operating as Eden By Ella. I provide photography services to clients locally. Protecting your privacy is essential to me and I want to be open about how I handle any personal information you share. This policy explains what data I collect, why I need it, and how I keep it safe in accordance with UK GDPR. I treat your information with the same care and respect that I provide during our photography sessions, ensuring your personal details remain secure.
The Information I Collect From You
When you interact with Eden By Ella through my contact form, email, or social media, I typically collect your name, email address, and phone number (if necessary) to discuss your booking. Whilst you browse this portfolio, cookies and analytical tools collect anonymous data about how you use the site. Under UK GDPR, I process this data based on our contract (to edit and deliver your photos), my legitimate interest (to improve my services), or your consent (posting your event on my website or social media.) I only keep your data for as long as necessary to complete your project and satisfy legal tax or insurance requirements. Once the editing and delivery procedures have been completed, I will store your photos for 30 days before permanently removing them from my drive and editing software.
This 30 day delay, provides an opportunity for my client to review all of their images and order any last photographs from myself, before it is not possible anymore. This policy can be beneficial for clients who have hosted big events or special occasions.
