I sought guidance from articles by spatial designers and architects, who focus on creating warm and inviting environments.

To further promote the depiction of a safe space, I read “Handbook of Self Regulation” (Boekaerts, Pintrich and Zeidner, 2005)  and “How to be a person in society” (Jarvis, 2012). 

There is holistic importance, in spending time in public and private spaces which feel safe, warm, and aesthetically pleasing.

Fragments of a canal from different viewpoints, have been curated into these collages. The water, primarily glowed from natural soft sunlight and thereafter, slight enhancement continued through post production. Layered photos have been manipulated, using Photoshop tool, Hue/Saturation in order to create a unique coloured body of water.
