Eden by Ella, aims to ensure that this website is accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Requests, Issues, and Suggestions

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you require further assistance, you are welcome to contact us through the organization's accessibility coordinator:

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.2  standards and have made the site accessible to the level of AA guidelines. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Acquired a warm and inviting reading voice to help guide listeners through the website's content.

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures across all of the site’s pages

  • Created separate content pages for both commercial and portfolio projects

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

Accessibility Arrangements in the Organization

As I primarily work as an on site photographer, it is always in my best interest, to meet clients at their preferred location of choice. If my presence is required in a pre- determined environment, for example if my client wishes me to photograph: concerts, weddings, exhibitions or workshops, etc, then I will meet the client where their specific event takes place and work alongside the event planner, to ensure that any required accessibility arrangements are provided on demand.

When working with stylists, designers and models, I ensure that the location chosen is discussed with all parties, prior to the shoot. This aims to create an environment where all persons involved in the creative process,  feel as comfortable as possible.

If a client were to have restrictions or any conditions which effects their health, this is taken into consideration.

For example, if I am working with a stylist who is keen to create a look book with many different outfits, I would research and verify that our set possesses a train station/car park nearby.

Furthermore, if  their is a priority for the location to have step free access, then this is also taken into consideration. This adjustment provides comfortability to wheelchair users or persons with conditions affecting their ability to walk.

If my client needs adjustments due to their neurodivergence, anxiety, low mood or any other mental health issues, I would converse with them to see how the shooting process can be tailored for their needs. For example adjustments such as: shooting in less busy environments to reduce chances of overstimulation, quickening the pace of a particular portion of a styling shoot, if they are having textural related issues and implementing regular breaks into the schedule, are all available upon request.
